Diabetes currently affects more than 62 million Indians, which is more than 7.1% of the adult population. The average age on onset is 42.5 years. India ranks second in the top 10 nations for people with diabetes. The burden of diabetes is increasing rapidly in the country, with one in six people with diabetes in the world being from India.

The need focus on diabetes in India becomes even more critical as youth-onset type-2 diabetes is no longer rare. 1 in every 4 (25.3%) people under age of 25 years with diabetes in India has adult-onset type-2 diabetes. People with diabetes are also more likely to have increased risk for heart diseases and renal diseases.

We work very closely with the medical fraternity to identify undetected diabetes in patients by conducting mega health check-up camps for patients. We work aggressively to prevent the increasing incidence of diabetes by conducting massive patient awareness campaigns across the nation.
